Recycling
| “Recycling” is the recovery of the recyclable waste materials and substances that are not in use through re-processing.
Recycled steel has to be used to produce new steel. The recycling process is embedded in to the steel production, which means that each steel production facility is in form of a steel recycling facility, which allows saving the valuable resources in form of producing pure steel.
For larger savings in the emissions and resources, the environmental safety of steel use for packaging is extraordinary and unique through its infinite recyclability.
With the integration of the recyclable steel to the production process, the industry obtains an energy saving of 70% and reduces the CO2 emissions resulting from the process. If stated in a simplified manner, when it comes to steel for packaging purposes, the higher the rate of recycling the lower the CO2 emissions, whereby, the carbon emissions are reduces as the level of recycling is increased. This means savings in the natural resources and energy utilization for the future generations as well as reducing the CO2 emissions significantly.

Environment
| The metal contains some of the most common natural resources found in the soil.
The steel is manufactured from the iron ore (the 4th most common formation) and carbon and is 100% recyclable – which means that contrary to the plastics and paper/cardboard, no waste or waste materials are generated during the recycling operations.
Therefore, the material is subjected to the recycling operations many times repetitively.
